Sony to launch Chhan Chhan on 25th March
After achieving great success and recognition for her work in the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Sanaya Irani is all set to rule millions of hearts once again. The new show titled Chhan Chhan will go on air from 25th March onwards on Sony Entertainment Television.
Sanaya who had earlier played the character of Khushi, became a popular household name, her chemistry with co star Barun Sobti was much appreciated by one and all. Chhan Chhan is a story of girl who is very bubbly and chirpy; she gets married to a Gujrati boy in a conservative family and thus begins her story of a new life in a new environment with a new family. The story becomes particularly interesting with the entry of Supriya Pathak who plays her strict mother in-law who controls the entire house with her discipline. The other characters in the show are - Ashish Kaul, who will be playing the role of Sanaya's father. While several names are being tossed around for the role of male lead, a source mentioned that Vishal Karwal could be finalized for the role.
The serial’s story is very similar to the movie Khubsoorat featuring ace actress Rekha.
