Connected - A new show on Zee TV is inspired by the Israeli reality show?

Zee Tv has been a champion in popularizing it’s home grown formats like the very successful Dance India Dance and SaReGaMaPa and now the channel is soon launching a reality show in prime time called ‘Connected’. The show will have 5 celebrity women participants, with cameras fitted all over their houses. The show will portray their day to day lives and their relationships. The women handpicked will be the ones who have had failed relationships in the past, they could be widows, divorcees, orphans or even women who have lost their kids. UTV has been assigned the task of producing the show. While the details about the format and participants are not yet available we are wondering if the format resembles the Israeli reality show with the same name.

Connected, a hit Israeli reality series showcases user generated content in its episodes. In the show five women are given cameras to document their relationships with their significant others. A resultant first –person docu - soap has found a significant fan following. The production team selects the participants who have good story telling abilities. The winner of the show is declared basis audience voting.
