This episode, Sneha visits one of the largest and most populous of Indian cities- Kolkata. Sneha visits the Calcutta Rowing Club, and the center of intellectual activity in Kolkata- College Street. Famous for its bookshops, she takes inspiration Gitaljali–which is a collection of Rabindranath Tagore’s poems. At the Kolkata Printing Press, she heads to a Rabindra Sangeet school where she meets and chats with various singers, and she picks five of them to be the voices on the Kolkata track. In search to find out more about the famous Bengali Babu culture, she meets the legendary Kolkata jazz guitarist Carlton Kitto. Adding the voice of Rubin, a legendary voice in Kolkata the resulting track, Babu, is a perfect amalgamation of everything Kolkata, the city of joy, with its unique people, culture and sounds.
