Shekhar tells Sumitra about the infant Lord Krishna's idol that he had found on the ground. Sumitra suspects that Laali could be pregnant. She tells Loha Singh that Shekhar is heartbroken because Laali is in jail and he should do something about it. Loha shows her Ratna's ashes and tells that Ratna's soul will curse her if she shows concern towards Ratna's killer. Loha leaves the room and Sumitra mutters about Laali's pregnancy. Gangiya overhears this and tells Siddheshwari about it. Ranvijay hears their conversation. Siddheshwari reveals that Sumitra had killed Ratna and not Laali. She reveals how she had overheard Sumitra confessing her crime. Gangiya tells Siddheshwari and Ranvijay that Sumitra has come to know of Laali's pregnancy. Ranvijay decides to kill Laali. Siddheshwari suggests taking Raghuvendra's help. Sumitra decides to go to the police station to confess her crime. Raghuvendra calls up the police inspector and orders him to kill Laali. Just then, Sumitra overhears the inspector telling on the phone that he will kill Laali after staging an accident. Sumitra realises that Laali will not be safe if she is out. So in order to protect her, Sumitra decides not to confess her crime. She asks Laali if she is pregnant but Laali denies.
