Asad's mother calls a tailor home to stitch a sherwani for him. She calls on Tanveer to help her with the fitting. She asks Zoya to advice on the color to which Zoya comments that she should ask Tanveer for advice as she was a childhood friend of Asad. Zoya calls on a dance master to train them for a dance sequence during the sangeet ceremony. Asad gets furious looking at the master and refuses to learn to dance. When the master asks who Asad's dance partner will be, Zoya smartly manages to plug herself in. Humeira cooks biryani and kebabs and serves the family. Only after much prodding, Ayaan praises her. Ami gets worried seeing ink of Humeira and Ayaan's thumbs. Humeira says that she took their thumb prints on some property documents. She gets worried thinking what Raziya could be plotting. Tanveer smiles Asad watching Zoya practice dance on her own. At night, Ayaan sneaks in through the window to meet Asad. He wonders how Asad agreed to marry Zoya especially since they did not get along. Asad asks Ayaan about his marriage with Humeira. Ayaan admits that he was not emotionally involved in her but had to get married. Asad murmurs that in his case his feelings were true but his marriage fake.
