Ashwini asks Saurabh why Avantika left abruptly. Saurabh tells her that he told Avantika about Shashank's conversation with him. Ashwini scolds him for doing so but Saurabh tells her that he wanted to be honest with her. Urmila brings a holy plate before Milind and happens to keep the burning lamp near Milind's bed. The bed sheet accidentally catches fire. Milind calls out to Urmila but she does not hear him. Just then, Milind gets out of the bed and extinguishes the fire. Urmila is pleased to see Milind standing on his feet again. Sulbha is extremely worried for Avantika but Sanika tries to give her courage saying that Reema too has gone with her, so all will be well. Devyani tells Iravati that she is feeling a bit self-conscious and awkward among new people. Iravati explains to Devyani that Abhijeet is a bit immature but everything will go fine because she (Devyani) is very mature and understanding. Urmila is very glad to see a new vigor in Milind. Shailesh comes with the doctor's report that Milind is absolutely fine and does not need any more treatment. Milind thanks Shailesh for all his help and apologizes to him for his past behaviour. Milind asks Shailesh to consider remarriage. Shailesh hesitates but Milind compels him to agree. Finally, Shailesh gives in. Avantika ponders about Shashank's behaviour and decides to talk to him on going back to Pune. Avantika speaks to Shobhana who is unconscious, and says that she has brought Arya and has decided to keep Arya with her forever. Shobhana wakes up. Avantika explains that she has realized how much Shobhana desires Arya. Everyone is surprised with Avantika's decision. She explains that she has started visiting an orphanage and has realized that a child only needs love which he can get from everyone in the Jagirdar family including Sonalika. Avantika bids a tearful farewell to Arya.
