Saraswati demands to know from Devyani how she had dared to come to their house with Akash! Devyani replies that Akash wants to apologise. Devyani surprises the Garodias by seeking Gauri's hand in marriage for Akash! Akash apologises to Gauri for his grave mistake and says that his mother and he need her. Savitri tells Devyani that they will go ahead with the proposal only if Gauri agrees. Gauri rejects the proposal. Saraswati and Savitri convince Gauri that Akash had apologised in front of everyone, so he was repentant. Devyani requests Gauri not to refuse the proposal and promises to keep her happy. Gauri relents. Devyani suggests that they fix the marriage for the following week. Savitri summons Yuvraj to perform the tradition of a male member welcoming Akash but Gauri suggests that Kshitij perform it. Menka and Yuvraj feel bad. Later, Savitri promises to have a grand wedding for Gauri. Yuvraj tells Menka that he will wait till his family forgives him. Meanwhile, Devyani tells Akash that she is sure that even if she is no more, Gauri will take good care of him. However, Akash is unhappy about the marriage. The next day, Yuvraj is walking on the road when he spots Akash walking arm in arm with a girl!

Devyani sees Gauri's condition and orders Akash's friends out of the house. Devyani slaps Akash and scolds him. Meanwhile, Prateeksha is crying, so Yuvraj picks her. An angry Niyati takes Prateeksha away and warns Yuvraj to stay away from her baby! Menka tells Savitri that she wonders if Yuvraj will ever be forgiven, but Savitri assures him that time will heal all wounds. On the other hand, Gauri returns home and is inconsolable. She narrates what Akash had done. Jhanvi and Saraswati promise to tackle Akash and his mother. Nikhil gets a call from his sister-in-law who insists that he return home but Nikhil tells her that he will never come home. Jhanvi demands to know the truth from him. Nikhil replies that his father and he don't see eye-to-eye and that's why he had run away from home. Jhanvi says that they must meet his family just once. Meanwhile, Yuvraj tells Menka how everyone hates him, but he is unable to convince them how repentant he is. Yuvraj says that he wants to work and shoulder the responsibility of their house, so Menka replies that she will request Savitri to permit him to look after the factory. The next day, Jhanvi and Saraswati barge inside Devyani's office and scold her for her son's actions. Devyani berates Akash for not only belittling an innocent girl but humiliating his mother as well! She warns Akash that he will have to repent for his misdeed. The Garodias are surprised to see Devyani with Akash at their doorstep.

Nikhil and Jhanvi go to the temple and offer their prayers. She then sees a palmist and asks him about her marriage. The palmist tells Jhanvi that she will get married but the new relationship will bring to her many troubles and that it also holds a big secret. Nikhil gets angry with the palmist and takes Jhanvi away. Jhanvi then demands to know about his parents, so he promises to introduce them to her. Later, Rasik turns up at Garodia Niwas and embraces Yuvraj. Rasik puts on an act and thanks everyone for forgiving Yuvraj. Rasik asks them to forgive him also because he wants to spend the rest of his life with them. Rasik tells Yuvraj that he is his father but a furious Yuvraj says that only Suryakant was his father, and that he hates him! Yuvraj then throws Rasik out of the house. Rasik realises that he has to work harder! Meanwhile, Akash invites Gauri for a party and says that he will fetch her from her house. Akash picks Gauri and woos her with flowers and gifts. When they reach the venue, Akash gifts her a black Western dress and insists that she wear it. Akash later tells his friend that his mother spoke rudely to him only because of Gauri, and promises to get even with her! When Gauri changes and comes to him, a drunken Akash shouts that because of her, Devyani had belittled him. He promises to show Gauri her standing today! Akash soon passes out and his friends surround Gauri and molest her. Devyani comes there just then and is shocked to see Gauri's state.

Yuvraj screams that he had killed his father and asks for the harshest punishment! Menka collapses hearing this. The judge announces that the verdict will be out the next day. Meanwhile, Gauri is devastated and wonders what she will say at home about losing her job. In Garodia Niwas, Menka keeps muttering that Yuvraj is innocent. She regains consciousness and begs Savitri to save her son. The doctor tells Baa and Savitri that it could even prove fatal for Menka if her son is not brought to her. Savitri promises to bring Yuvraj home but Saraswati warns her that the court will not release him! Savitri continues to be at loggerheads with Saraswati and Jhanvi. A dejected Gauri returns home and mentions to her sisters about the unfortunate turn of events at office. Nikhil promises Gauri to wipe off all accusations cast on her and give her job back. Meanwhile, Savitri meets Yuvraj and orders him to give back her son! She pleads with him to think about Menka's critical condition and save her! Yuvraj tells Savitri that he is completely broken from within and will not be able to face his family. The lawyer arrives then with the bail application papers. On the other hand, Nikhil goes to Akash's office and shows Akash the photographs of the real culprit, Sharma, who is Akash's manager. However, Sharma informs Devyani and the others that he had deceived them at Tina's behest because she wanted to seek revenge from Gauri and had threatened him. Devyani fires Tina and requests Gauri to forgive her. She asks Gauri to rejoin them but at a higher post. Akash too apologises to her. Meanwhile, Savitri informs her family that Yuvraj is with her. They are stunned to see Yuvraj at their doorstep. He is about to step inside when Saraswati warns him not to!

A devastated Savitri looks at the photograph of her deceased husband and hopes that at least he does not misunderstand her intentions. She apologises to him for getting his killer released but says that she had no choice because Menka would have killed herself. Meanwhile, Nikhil makes Kiran the mediator to pacify Jhanvi. On the other hand, Tina shows the photographs of Gauri and Nikhil to Akash. Akash is stunned to see that the man whom Gauri is with is his competitor and the one who had got their contract. Akash receives a phone call and he informs Tina that they have lost yet another contract to Nikhil Singh. Akash calls for a Board meeting and asks Tina to switch on the projector to show who the betrayer was! Everyone is stunned to see Gauri and Nikhil's photographs. Akash and Tina accuse Gauri of being a spy. Gauri pleads innocence but even Devyani accuses her of betraying her trust. Akash throws her out of the office. Jhanvi tells Nikhil that she wants to win the hearts of his parents but he cleverly changes the topic. Meanwhile, the court hearing for Yuvraj begins, and the Prosecutor and Defense Lawyer put forth their viewpoints. The judge then asks Yuvraj if wanted to say anything, so Yuvraj pleads guilty of his father's murder and seeks the harshest punishment!

Rasik meets Menka outside Garodia Niwas and she narrates how Savitri had gone against her daughters to support her. Rasik is delighted. Rasik mentions to Menka that Yuvraj's court hearing was next day but cautions her that Yuvraj must not plead guilty. Jhanvi and Saraswati meet Menka just then, and Jhanvi sees a gold bracelet fallen. Jhanvi and Saraswati say that Rasik must have surely come but Menka lies that she had come out to meet the lawyer. Meanwhile, Akash shows his ad campaign to Tina and Gauri. Tina loves it but Gauri suggests that the posters should portray and promote images of Indian culture. Tina hates her idea but Akash approves of it. Devyani too agrees with Gauri's idea. Devyani mentions about a new tourism tender being floated by the Indian government for foreign dignitaries. She cautions Tina and Gauri to remain secretive about their strategies this time. Devyani suggests that Gauri support Akash in this project as well. Meanwhile, Menka and Savitri go to the police station with their lawyer but the officer informs them that Yuvraj does not want meet anybody. Menka returns home and voices her worry to Savitri that Yuvraj may plead guilty and be hanged to death. Menka tells her that Rasik had mentioned about Yuvraj being sent to the gallows if he pleaded guilty. Savitri begs her not to listen to Rasik. On the other hand, Gauri meets Nikhil on her way home. Tina sees them together and clicks photographs. Tina wonders what Gauri was doing with Nikhil Singh and promises to get even with Gauri now. Meanwhile, Jhanvi tells Saraswati that Yuvraj had refused to meet Menka and Savitri. Menka overhears and scolds them. Saraswati asserts that she does not want Yuvraj released from jail. Savitri scolds Saraswati, so Menka warns Savitri to stop the charade! Menka accuses Savitri of wanting to have Yuvraj sent to the gallows so that the entire inheritance could go to her daughters! Jhanvi is inconsolable that Savitri had slapped her. Gauri tells Saraswati and Jhanvi that this must be Rasik's doing. Nikhil meets Jhanvi and says that she was wrong but Jhanvi replies that Yuvraj is the one who had killed her father. Savitri arranges for Menka's penance again, much to the chagrin of her children! Baa explains to the girls that it is difficult to explain to a mother what's right or wrong. Menka finishes praying and thanks Savitri for her support. Meanwhile, Akash is furious about losing the contract to a rival group for just a rupee difference! Tina instigates Akash that someone from the company had leaked the information. However, Devyani tells Akash that she trusts her staff implicitly. Devyani asks Akash to concentrate on a new contract for the Indian Army. Meanwhile in Garodia Niwas, the battle continues between the daughters and mothers, and Baa worries that the happiness of the house will get destroyed. Jhanvi asserts that the sisters can never forgive Yuvraj. Savitri comes then and apologises to Jhanvi and Baa. The daughters feel helpless. Saraswati and Jhanvi decide to visit Yuvraj. Yuvraj regrets and repents his actions but Jhanvi assures him that even though Menka may try and get him released, the sisters would never let it happen. Saraswati too scorns him and taunts that it is Rasik's blood that flows in his veins! Saraswati asks him to shut all paths that will lead to their home. Yuvraj promises his sisters that he will do so.
