It is an unwritten law and a common notion that women, irrespective of religion, caste or creed, should live under the yoke! They do not have the privilege to say 'no to what hinders their human and social growth. Those who challenge the denial of equal status and right to debate are declared obstinate and/or disrespectful. Often, they are termed as outlaws. Adhikar is a story of such outlaw women. The story highlights that feminism is not necessarily an anti-male stance. A better status for women leads to a well balanced society that comprises educated and enlightened women too.
