A furious Sugni asserts that she would not allow them to conduct Gulabiya's sardhakai. Saroj believes Sugni always foiled her plans. Hukum assures Saroj that he would take care of Sugni. Even before Hukum could utter a word, Sugni warns him to be away from the matter or she would not spare him. She asserts that the matter was about her mother and Hukum had no right to speak in between. Hukum states that he was Gulabiya's brother and he had the right to speak. In anger, Sugni asserts that Hukum never fulfilled his responsibilities towards Gulabiya. She states that he was using Gulabiya as he wanted to live a lavish and carefree life. She adds that he could not sell Gulabiya. Hukum warns Sugni not to speak in between the elders. Sugni replies that Gulabiya was the eldest family member of the house and Hukum had no right to take decisions for her. Sugni threatens to kill Hukum if he tried to sell Gulabiya. Saroj mockingly states that it was no use saving Gulabiya as she was already sold once. In anger, Saroj tries to slap Sugni. Sugni holds Saroj's hand much to everyone's shock. Hukum believes that Sugni had invited more trouble for them. Sugni asserts that by selling Gulabiya, Saroj would not be able to win Jwala Thakur's love. She states that she was not worthy to receive anyone's love. In anger, Saroj orders Kathari and Hukum to throw Sugni out of the venue. Lagariya holds Gulabiya. At that time, Jwala Thakur arrives at the venue. Hukum explains to Jwala Thakur that since Gulabiya was no longer his Bedni, he thought of conducting her sardhakai. Jwala Thakur replies that sardhakai could be conducted only with the consent of every family member. He states that Sugni was not in favor of the sardhakai. Hukum tells Jwala Thakur that he must not believe Sugni. He adds that he had earlier punished Sugni in the panchayat. Jwala Thakur ignores Hukum's statement and states that if he does not stop the sardhakai, he would face severe consequences. Haldi Singh gets scared and leaves from the venue. Sugni and Gulabiya decide to thank Jwala Thakur. Before getting in to the car, Jwala Thakur mocks Saroj on the failure of her plan. He reveals that he tricked Sugni and convinced her to stop the sardhakai. Sugni overhears their conversation and states that she was hurt. She states that it was a good thing that she finally realized that the truth of all her relations. She states that she was only concerned about Gulabiya. She asks Gulabiya to leave along with her. On their way back home, Sugni tells Gulabiya that they must go ahead and live their new life.
