Sindoora is set to leave with Sagar for a meeting but Vidya asks everyone to stay back. Just then Sagar receives a phone call informing him that the meeting has been postponed. Vidya tells the family that she had hid the truth about going to Singapore with Sagar because a family member wanted to harm Sagar, and it was not Harsh. Vidya says that the conspirator is Sindoora! She bares all of Sindoora's misdeeds and says that Sindoora is trying to conspire against Sagar again. A furious Sagar warns Vidya to shut up and yells at her! Vidya says that she will soon present the evidences too. However, DJ comes home and shows different photographs. Sindoora smiles and recalls how she had overheard Vidya's conversation with DJ the previous night and threatened him. On the contrary, DJ accuses Vidya of giving him a lot of money to trap Sindoora but had failed. Sagar gets furious and asks Vidya to go in her room. An upset Sagar apologises to Sindoora, and she pretends to be very hurt. She says that he is like a son to her. Sagar pacifies her and orders Vidya to beg at Sindoora's feet, so she reluctantly obliges. Sindoora says that she can't believe Vidya could stoop so low to make a place in Sagar's heart! Meanwhile, Aniket is certain that Vidya would have never spoken all this if she didn't have evidence! Aniket decides to find out the truth.
The compelling saga about a genteel, lovely but illiterate girl, Vidya who hails from the holy town of Benares in India, and marries Sagar under strange circumstances. Sagar is the son of a rich landlord but has been rendered intellectually challenged because of an accident. Sindoora, Sagar's eldest stepsister, is very greedy and wants to grab all of her deceased father's property that he had willed to Vidya before dying. She hates Vidya and spares no opportunity to humiliate and torture her, along with the help of her other two sisters, Mahua and Chandra. However, Vidya tries to keep the family united with her calm demeanour and extraordinary patience. With her love, she even manages to get Sagar on the right track and he eventually falls in love with her, but their new found happiness is short-lived. The plot takes an interesting twist when Sagar and Vidya get killed by Sindoora but they are reborn as Amar and Divya, respectively. Will they be able to avenge their death from Sindoora in their new life?
