Sindoora scolds her family for telling Sagar the truth about Vidya. She blames Uma for getting Sagar married to a girl like Vidya. She demands to know why Sagar should accept a village bumpkin like Vidya as his wife! Bharat informs everyone then that Sagar is not in his room. Cheenu tells his family that Sagar must have gone near Lord Shiva's temple. Vidya requests Aniket to let her speak to Sagar in solitude. Vidya meets Sagar and narrates the circumstances that led to their marriage and how she started believing that Lord Shambhunath had willed that they get married. She further says that the days she spent with him were like a dream and she'd treasure them for the rest of her life. However, she assures him that she will never want to cause him grief, so she would go far away from his life forever. Vidya returns home and doesn't say anything. Aniket phones Sagar and warns him that he's made the biggest mistake of his life by spurning Vidya and orders him to come home immediately so that they can resolve the matter. Vidya is all set to leave the house and tells the family that Sagar does not like her, so she should not be staying back. Samir asks her not to leave him alone, so she pacifies him that he is not alone. The entire family begs her not to leave, so Vidya replies that she cannot disobey her husband and can't bear to see him reject her. A tearful Vidya sees Sagar at the entrance and leaves home.
The compelling saga about a genteel, lovely but illiterate girl, Vidya who hails from the holy town of Benares in India, and marries Sagar under strange circumstances. Sagar is the son of a rich landlord but has been rendered intellectually challenged because of an accident. Sindoora, Sagar's eldest stepsister, is very greedy and wants to grab all of her deceased father's property that he had willed to Vidya before dying. She hates Vidya and spares no opportunity to humiliate and torture her, along with the help of her other two sisters, Mahua and Chandra. However, Vidya tries to keep the family united with her calm demeanour and extraordinary patience. With her love, she even manages to get Sagar on the right track and he eventually falls in love with her, but their new found happiness is short-lived. The plot takes an interesting twist when Sagar and Vidya get killed by Sindoora but they are reborn as Amar and Divya, respectively. Will they be able to avenge their death from Sindoora in their new life?
