Arvind and the rest of the family ask Avantika about Shashank's details. Avantika tells them that Shashank is 42 years old and has a 12 year old daughter. Salil tells Arvind about Shashank's good for nothing brother Siddhart and about Poonam. Sanika tries to convince Arvind but Sulbha opposes the proposal saying that Shashank is too elder for her and his daughter may not accept her. Avantika is disappointed. When Jui returns from school, Mai tells her that Richa has gone away. Sulbha recollects the astrologer's prediction regarding Avantika's second marriage. Avantika tries to convince Sulbha to agree for her marriage but Sulbha asks Avantika to understand her. Arvind asks Avantika to think well before coming to a decision. Jui calls up Richa and asks her why she left. Richa tells her that Shashank does not want her in that house. She also requests Jui to stay with Mai and Anna. Later, Richa decides that she will go back to Shashank's house very soon. Shashank is restless thinking about Avantika. Amol asks Saurabh if he spoke to Shashank about Avantika. Saurabh says that he does not know how to ask. Amol asks Saurabh to propose to Avantika. Jui eagerly waits for her father but Mai asks her to go to sleep. Avantika wonders why her family is opposing Shashank. She also wonders why Shashank did not call her up the whole day. Meanwhile, Shashank comes to Avantika's house. On the other hand, Saurabh too leaves to go to her house. Avantika is surprised to see Shashank at her doorstep. Avantika feels shy and surrenders herself into his arms. Saurabh is aghast to see them.
