Sindoora realises that the anonymous caller was none other than Cheenu. She also recalls Sagar alerting her about Cheenu and Bharat's antics. A furious Sindoora asks Cheenu and Bharat who had exchanged the documents and keeps slapping Cheenu. Bharat then tells her that they were responsible because they wanted Vidya to return to this house. Sindoora yells at Bharat and goes to slap him too but is stopped by Aniket. Cheenu narrates the truth to Aniket. Aniket asks Bharat how Sindoora had managed to get the property documents from Vidya. Aniket yells at Sindoora, so she retorts that she did it for the good of the house. Aniket asks her who gave her the right to decide whether Vidya is worthy of being a family member or not! When Sindoora warns Aniket not to bring Vidya back, he threatens to reveal her secret! Sindoora is dejected. On the other hand, Aniket scolds Vidya for always sacrificing and running away from problems! He then says that he has come to take her back home. Uma gives Vidya a warm welcome. Sagar is delighted, while Sindoora sulks. Vidya apologises to Sagar but he scolds her for leaving him alone. Vidya promises never to leave him and apologises to Uma for misbehaving with her. Sindoora walks away, so Aniket asks her to apologise to Vidya. When Sindoora demands to know why, Aniket replies that she must change now or face dire consequences! Left with no choice, Sindoora apologises softly. However, Aniket insists that she look into Vidya's eyes and apologise loudly. Everyone is stunned when Sindoora obliges!
The compelling saga about a genteel, lovely but illiterate girl, Vidya who hails from the holy town of Benares in India, and marries Sagar under strange circumstances. Sagar is the son of a rich landlord but has been rendered intellectually challenged because of an accident. Sindoora, Sagar's eldest stepsister, is very greedy and wants to grab all of her deceased father's property that he had willed to Vidya before dying. She hates Vidya and spares no opportunity to humiliate and torture her, along with the help of her other two sisters, Mahua and Chandra. However, Vidya tries to keep the family united with her calm demeanour and extraordinary patience. With her love, she even manages to get Sagar on the right track and he eventually falls in love with her, but their new found happiness is short-lived. The plot takes an interesting twist when Sagar and Vidya get killed by Sindoora but they are reborn as Amar and Divya, respectively. Will they be able to avenge their death from Sindoora in their new life?
