Barkha assures Karan that his wish will be her command. She comes to Apoorva's house again the next morning and asks him to give Jiiya flowers and gifts. Apoorva tells Barkha that he will surely win over Jiiya and thanks Barkha for being a good friend. Barkha then phones Jiiya in a disguised voice and tells her that a drunken and violent Apoorva had left home and was heading towards her home. A worried Jiiya promises the 'maid' that she would tackle Apoorva. Apoorva comes to Jiiya's house and proclaims his love for her in front of her family. He promises to wait for her until she was pacified. An angry Jiiya asks him to leave because he was drunk and warns her family not to interfere. She then throws his gifts, and orders him to go away. Apoorva phones Barkha to inform her how Jiiya had reacted. Meanwhile, a devastated Jiiya pleads with her family not to ask her anything. Later, Karan phones Jiiya and warns her to leave the city or he would send Apoorva out of town. Apoorva overhears and accuses Karan of destroying his life, and of not having ever loved either his mother or him! He angrily throws the flower vase and warns him not to blame Jiiya.
