The IPL authorities have had a mixed season this time around as apart from being a very interesting and competitive season, this was also a season that was marred with several controversies. Interestingly some of these also involved the owners of IPL franchises. Keeping this in mind, there is a suggestion that tough rules and guidelines will be in place from now on so that such embarrassment can be easily avoided.
