Mauli is touched when Devki gives him a set of clothes for Ghana’s engagement. Devki expresses her gratitude to Mauli for doing so much for the family. Radha is surprised to know from Mahesh that Ghana’s uncles have come to help them. Radha thanks them for volunteering. Vallari is very excited about her new sari. Just then Vallabh comes there wearing a very weird kind of a shirt. Vallari expresses her dislike, and warns him not to wear it for the engagement. However, Vallabh is shocked to know that Vallari has bought an expensive sari. Vallari tries to divert his mind, but in vain. Digambar is amused when Ghana tells him that he and Radha went for shopping on different vehicles. Digambar assumes that they had a fight, and explains to Ghana that a fight is the first step towards falling in love. Ghana explains that it was a practical decision. Prachi and Radha too are discussing the same topic, and Prachi too finds it abnormal. Digambar explains to Ghana that couples have some specific habits. Radha too explains to Prachi that she and Ghana are very practical. Prachi tells her that she will understand it after marriage. Ghana explains to Digambar that being practical does not lead to expectations. Digambar tells him that only time will teach him a few things. Digambar asks him to wish Radha good night. Ghana is relieved to find Radha’s phone switched off. Vallari tries to convince Vallabh to wear the wig gifted by her father, but he flatly refuses. Devki is busy pressing the clothes for the engagement. She asks Kuhu to check if everyone has made the arrangements. She then asks Ghana to give his dress for pressing. Kuhu comes to inform her that Radha’s engagement sari is missing. Devki rushes out leaving the press on Ghana’s outfit.
Eka Lagnachi Doosri goshta is the story of two adorable people, Radha and Ghanashyam, who have their own aspirations and goals in life. Shyam dreams of making it big one day in the U.S in the field of Software, Radha herself has lived in hostels all her life, away from her small family of just her father and has been very independent and confident about her career moves and choices in life. Both these individuals hold similar thoughts about marriage: "Futile", "Pointless" and "Pressurising". They have been dodging their respective families that think they are soon passing the "marriageable age". In a turn of events, they find themselves sitting opposite each other to please their families and to consider each other for a life-long commitment. That is when both realize how they dislike the concept of marriage and how they are not even in love, forget that, they do not even like anything about each other!!! Full of light hearted moments, the story progresses as several comic situations arise in their life…
